Auto Accident Guidelines

If you are involved in a vehicle accident, please follow these simple steps.
It is very important that you follow each step to ensure that we can process your claim effectively.

1. Do not leave the scene of the accident. If your car is in an unsafe location, or if you are concerned with your personal safety, move your car to a safer location.
2. Immediately call the police and follow their instructions. The police may not arrive to the scene of the accident is minor and no serious injuries occurred. Instead, they may advise you to exchange information with the other driver(s) that were involved in the accident.
3. Contact SunState Insurance Agency as soon as possible to report the accident at 602.393.6000.
• For 24 hour assistance or to contact your insurance carrier direct (below), simply "click" on your carrier's website and follow their instructions, call the number listed with the carrier, or refer to your insurance card for their 24-hour claims phone number.
4. Do not disclose your insurance limits to the other driver(s).
5. Never admit fault.
6. Give the other driver(s) and any other injured person(s) your name and policy number.
